You should be, actually. The correct answer is NONE! Diets are normally temporary solutions at best, and most people gain the weight back when they go off the diet. In some cases they gain back even more than they lost. This happens for a reason - your body goes into starvation mode, and ends up storing fat instead of burning it. Aside from that it just makes a person crabby!
Instead of using the term diet (a four letter word in my book), think healthy eating instead. Take some time to learn what foods are good for you and what they do for your body. If you are more aware of why you're eating something, and why you shouldn't eat other things, you will eventually be able to make a smarter choice every time. Reading labels is KEY. First rule of thumb: If you can't pronounce it, there's a pretty good chance you shouldn't be ingesting it!
A Healthy State
My journey of getting healthy...one step at a time.
Welcome to A Healthy State
Welcome to a Healthy State!
Ever since I've changed my habits from bad to good, I have been motivated to help people learn how to be healthy. Don't gt me wrong though, I still have some vices, but moderation is key! This is the reason for my Blog. It makes me happy to be able to share all of the great info I've found in my own quest to be healthy, like nutrition facts, exercise tips, links to great articles, and a link to an ingenious (and free!) website that makes it effortless to plan delicious, 'good for you' meals. (I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but healthy food CAN taste good!)
It would excite me even more to know that I played a part in leading you to YOUR healthy state.

One of my favorite quotes...
"The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!"
